Its not the first time South Africa visiting India. Sachin's 200 at Gwallior and all came in such an african tour. But What's going to be the different this time? Why People are all eagerly waiting?
  • Answer is simple, This Series has got various Specialities ;- Its South Africa's biggest Indian tour,comprising 3 T20's,5 Onedayers,4 Tests , its a 2 months plus campaign for Proteas. 
  • As I said above India and South Afirica Played many series, in both home and away conditions, but its different from this series. This Time both the teams are playing the series under a banner name "GANDHI-MANDELA SERIES" , a tribute to  greatest ever legends Mahatma Gandhi & Nelson Mandela. Like the Border-Gavaskar Trophy, like the Ashes, I am damn sure this Series is also going to be a special one. This is not just because India & South Africa meeting against eachother,but also under a name of 2 legends the presence of World class Players like Dhoni,Kohli,Devilliers,Steyn etc.. makes it too special for the spectaculars! Starting on a Gandhi Jayanthi Day its going to be a cracker ,no doubt!
  • As an Indian's Point of view what makes it important is Indians are playing Under their most successful captain In history after a gap of 99 days,MS Dhoni, Captain Cool played for India on last June 24  Bangladesh At Dhaka. Before this South African Series There Were lot of discussions on Changing the captaincy in shorter formats, Replacing Dhoni with  Kohli as in tests. But Selectors had faith in Dhoni, retained him as the Captain. He was,sorry,is one of the greatest ever shorter format player,wheather its ODI or T20. There is no point of questioning his batting skills, As a captain its going to be a "TEST" for Mahendra Singh Dhoni.  We all Know MSD is always like a phoenix bird, he likes to arise from ashes ,as he did in Last champions trophy and this world cup. When we look at the captaincy Dhoni was,is far ahead than his opponents and even his colleagues.Let us see what will be his future too? One thing is sure he is the most noted or attracted Player in this series.

  • Virat Kohli is also going to have a "BIG" test! Not just as the batsman but also as a Captain of the Test Team. It would Virat's first big challenge in test after being appointed as the permanent skipper. How he is going to lead this Young Indian team against giants like Devilliers, Duplessis, Amla, Duminy, Steyn, Morkel etc.. is something that every cricket fan is waiting to see.

  • Last but the least, the T20's, which is going to start today will be India's first part of preparation ahead of next year's T20 Worldcup at India. India have to plan their batting order, who is going to come at no.3 or 4 or 5. India needs to find the new talents and give them chances before next worldcup, hopefully we could conlclude that by the end of the series, Sreenath Aravind will have a wonderful debut and in ODI's Gurkeerat Singh Mann will complete the spot of a genuine allrounder for India.

This article is from my Heart. The Title may look strange, but in this country, this title would make a small proportion interested, rather than giving some titles in praise for Dhoni. Dhoni may be the most Popular cricketer after Sachin in this country, but one thing is sure, Even though Dhoni lies second to master in likes, in dislikes he is far ahead than the master. They are very few in number, but they who continuously haunts him, troll him, abuse him. That very few even wished India to lose, just see Dhoni's head down. But unfortunately, Captain Cool always treat those people or media as those three dogs in his house. Am not here to Worship Dhoni, or to go through the milestones he achieved. Solid Cook bids goodbye :)

Those Words from a Spectator at Vizag defines Alastir Nathan Cook.   For us, He was not just an opponent but a brutual nightmare. We all admired his patience From The very first 160-ball 60 and the second innings hundred at the orange city. Even now when he claims‘there is nothing left in the tank’, we admire this left hander with little bit happiness as the greatest contender for Sachin bids goodbye.  Being the Captain,losing the first test, still scoring 562 runs and winning the series is something which make him the greatest rival to this Indian Spectator.
