http://www.thehindu.com/opinion/columns/nirmal_shekar/dravid-deserves-greater-respect/article2336780.ece This is an article about Dravid, which came in newspaper 4years ago, during his retirement from ODI's. "A man less committed to the cause of the nation would have hesitated to answer such a mindless call to arms", writes Nirmal Shekar in this article.   The man who served India for 15 years(at that time,i.e.2011), ready to do anything for India, should have been treated in a better way, that's what article was about. Yes, Dravid's career seems to be a "never ending sacrifice" for true cricket fans, especially for Indians.  OPENER IS INJURED,WILL YOU OPEN, "YES"! INDIA NEEDS TO PLAY AN EXTRA BOWLER, WILL YOU PLS KEEP THE WICKETS ,"YES"... Like that somany "YES", Just for the nation, that was Dravid!  I know everyone will think, what is the purpose to say all these now, 4 years later.  If  Indians failed to ...

Steven Peter Devereux Smith.During a T20 Match vs Pakistan at Melbourne in 2010, we heard this name for the first time. At that time he was just a choice for the spot of an allrounder. He was a better fielder and bowler  than a batsman. He couldn't start well too. Eventhough he made the odi debut same year, his spot was not permanent. http://www.crictoday.com/smith-from-the-next-warne-to-world-s-no-1-batsman.html But now after five years, everything changed. He keeps on scoring hundreds and winning it for australia. Now Australian side, especially in tests, if they have to win Smith has to score a hundred. What turned around him, during the five years I Don't know. May be the faith kept by Australian Selectors as well the Clarke. They trusted him, gave him enough of chances , which now leads to become successor of the 'Pup'.  https://www.facebook.com/CricketAustralia/photos/a.1619231598307361.1073741828.1558823507681504/1687894024774451/?type=1&theater May ...

Apart from the dominant perfomance in first 2 days of the first test, nothing went in favour of India. First it was Herath , now its injuries turning out to be the 'villain'. If in the first test it was Murali Vijay, now Dhawan's name too added to the list of injured. When Vijay is recovering from a hamstring injury, at the moment the the hunter 'Shikhar' being ruled out of the series. India's opening combination holds a bit of worry ahead of the second test. http://www.espncricinfo.com/sri-lanka-v-india-2015/content/story/910365.html http://www.cricbuzz.com/cricket-news/74155/shikhar-dhawan-ruled-out-of-sri-lanka-series Now its a question for the Indian coaching staff that who will open with Lokesh Rahul im the Sanga's final test. Stuart Binny who joined with the squad can't replace Vijay or Dhawan as an opener, the who will open? It would be nice to see Rohit or Rahane opening with Vijay. Both give India a chance to play Pujara at no.3. Otherw...
